Areas of Expertise
There are so many reasons to enter therapy and I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to hear your story and earn your trust.
I specialize in supporting individuals who are struggling with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related issues including perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-judgment. I also work with a broad range of relationship issues (including communication, relationship anxiety/OCD, challenges related to intimacy, etc.).
Additionally, I have expertise in helping patients struggling with disordered eating and chronic dieting using a non-diet, HAES aligned approach. Together, we will explore the causes behind these behaviors and work towards rebuilding trust & attunement with your body.
In general, I work well with clients who feel stuck using coping strategies that no longer feel good and are ready to move in a new direction.

Training & Experience
I completed my MSW at Fordham University in 2016. Since then, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings including psychiatric emergency, IOP/PHP, and outpatient behavioral health. I have worked with a wide variety of mental health conditions. I'm dedicated to completing continuing education and receiving consultation and supervision. I have received training in DBT and ACT through Psychwire, training in ACT, CPT, and ERP through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute, training in Emotionally Focused Individual therapy through the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy, and intensive training in ERP through the Center for Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) at Penn (where ERP was developed). I engage in consultation with experienced colleagues weekly.

I am passionate about the work I do and providing evidence-based care. I also honor that you are the expert in you and strive to be highly collaborative. After all, we're just two humans.
